GRABO; an easier way of lifting
The GRABO Vacuum Lifter is a cordless electronic suction cup lifting device that utilises an electric vacuum pump to create a strong suction and secure it to nearly any surface. It works on a variety of surfaces, including rough, porous, and moist ones. It's beneficial for fixing large-format tiles and handling tiles that have been back-buttered or primed.
The GRABO Electric Vacuum Lifter has a 170kg lifting capacity. Plasterboard, concrete pavers, checker plate, drain covers, worktops, doors, glass, stone slabs, flagstones, textured tiles & glass, and various other surfaces are all ideal for usage with it. The GRABO Electric Vacuum Lifter works incredibly effectively on rough or porous materials (wood, concrete, rock, gypsum boards, natural stone tiles) that a regular hard rubber suction cup would not be able to hold. Air can pass through porous surfaces, causing a vacuum cavity generated by a typical suction cup to fail after only a few seconds. The GRABO works effectively on these surfaces because it constantly pumps out air faster than air leaks through the material. The flexible rubber seal on the bottom makes an excellent seal on the surface by moulding itself to any curves and uneven surfaces.
GRABO vs Vaculex vl
GRABO is a portable and mobile tool
One of the major selling points of GRABO is its portability and easy mobility while in use. You don't have to use the GRABO with a peripheral unit necessarily. Although there is room for that, GRABO has a plastic handle, making it easy to handle. It can be used to lift objects over relative distances. Each unit comes in a fabric bag for easy transportation from home to your workplace.
It is lightweight
With a maximum lifting capacity is 375 lbs, GRABO has a shocking body mass of 3.3 lbs (1.6kg). Made with PA6, a lightweight plastic material, the GRABO is quite a handy tool, while the vaculex VL is bulky because all its units are separate and have to be installed together to function. GRABO has all its units (the rubber seal or suction foot, vacuum pump, mechanical pressure gauge) already pre-installed into the tool. After purchase, all you have to do is mount on a surface and switch on the pump, and you are good to go.
It has an automated function
GRaBO is electronically powered by a 14.8 kV lithium-ion battery which is rechargeable and replaceable. The battery is strong enough and can run for 90 minutes non-stop and last for up to a year with consistent use. The battery powers the vacuum pump, thus creating enough suction power to hold the object.
GRABO doesn't need a peripheral unit to be installed to function; it can be used independently.
Vaculex VL is usually operated by suspending it on a piece of overhead equipment, while GRABO can be used independently or with its lifting attachment depending on the user. It increases productivity and makes the work faster.
GRABO can be used with a lifting attachment
At the sides of a unit of the Nemo GRABO and GRABO Pro-Lifter 20, there are four lifting lugs for attaching straps and the Erguo S1 lifting attachment to facilitate handling heavier materials.
GRABO will lift a wide range of materials.
One eye-catching feature of GRABO is its effectiveness in lifting a wide variety of materials; rough, smooth, porous and non-porous. From tiles to concrete slabs, countertops, glass fixtures, wood, boxes, metal sheets, amongst others, GRABO lifts the object excellently. When handling porous surfaces, its brilliant vacuum pump pumps air out faster than the rate it is coming in. It ensures that the tool has a firm hold on the object while lifting and moving.
GRABO can be operated with one hand
Unlike the Vaculex VL, a two-hand operated vacuum lifter, GRABO is operated with one hand and is easy to manoeuvre. Vaculex VL is attached to a peripheral unit and guided with both hands from where it picks the object to its destination point. It is primarily manual, but the GRABO is portable enough to be handled with just one arm. To lift a slab of material, all you have to do is turn on your GRABO unit by pressing the green button and place it on the surface. Once the pump is activated, it creates a strong suction and firmly grips the surface.
