THE ELECTRIC SUCTION CUP FOR LIFTING

Lifting devices allow the vertical movement of people, and goods. There is a wide range of lifting devices, suited to different situations, uses, vertical distances, and loads. A suction lifter (or suction pad) is a form of suction cup used for commercial and industrial lifting operations. In the construction industry, they are often used to move large, smooth objects such as glass panes, fixtures such as kitchen countertops, floor tiles, and so on. They are commonly hand-operated, although they can also operate on a hoist.

The GRABO electric vacuum suction cup lifter is the most popular electric suction cup lifter. It has several uses for a wide variety of industries and makes for a small and affordable tool to have with you at all times. Whether you want to save your fingers or you just want to create a handle for those large and awkward pieces of drywall or plywood that you need to pick up, the Grabo can be of use to you in your business.

The GRABO Electric Vacuum Lifter is cordless, and it operates using an electric vacuum pump to achieve a high level of suction, securing it to almost any surface. It works on rough, porous, and even wet surfaces. It is particularly useful when fixing large-format tiles, and also helps with the handling of es that have been back-buttered or primed. The GRABO portable electric vacuum lifter makes a great tool for tiling when you are placing those hard-to-reach spots where your fingers can not grip around the tile that you are placing. It makes for a great tool to be able to pick up and readjust the material underneath without having to disturb that material with your fingers gripped around the sides of the product. It also makes for a great dent remover in your truck, though it is not recommended.

The GRABO Electric Vacuum Lifter can lift to 170 kg. It is suitable for use on many surfaces, including Plasterboard, checker plate, drain covers, worktops, doors, glass, stone slabs, concrete pavers, flagstones, textured tiles & glass, and many more. The GRABO Electric Vacuum Lifter works particularly well on rough or porous materials (wood, concrete, rock, gypsum boards, natural stone tiles) that otherwise wouldn’t work with a standard hard rubber suction cup. Porous surfaces allow air to travel through them, rendering a vacuum cavity created by a standard suction cup to fail after a few seconds.

The GRABO works well on these surfaces by constantly pumping out air at a rate greater than the rate of air leaking through the material. The flexible foam rubber seal on the bottom creates an excellent seal by molding itself to any contours and uneven surfaces.

The GRABO Electric Vacuum Lifter is easy to operate — it features two buttons, a green one for simple on/off operation of the vacuum pump, and a red one for quick release of the suction pad. It is a truly cordless unit, power is supplied from a 14.8v Li-ion battery pack, which lasts for 1.5 hours of use and takes 2 hours to charge. Each lifter unit is supplied with two battery packs. The unit also features two anchoring points for attaching straps, to facilitate handling of bulkier materials.

The GRABO Electric Vacuum Lifter is available in two formats — Standard, and — the Plus model features an integrated pressure gauge. Each Lifter unit is supplied ready to use, and comes with 2 × 14.8v Battery packs, a lifting strap, a replacement foam seal, battery charging lead and is supplied in one compact plastic carry case.

However, with the right tools, you can not only build what you have in mind you can also build it with the utmost quality that you want to represent your business. If the Grabo fits in your business based on its uses, you will want to invest in at least one of them.

It is not a secret that there is a labor shortage. So, you should be working to make your company as appealing to work for and making it as easy of a place to work for your employees so that you can retain the good ones. That means making sure that your employees have the right tools and the best tools. That being said, if you agree with this statement, then the GRABO is a no-brainer in your business if it has a use in your business.

Safety

Have you ever pinched your finger placing a stone slab? This tool will help prevent that from happening. Instead of having your fingers on the edges of the material you are placing, you only have one hand on the handle ready to place it. There is a lot to be said about this purchase in providing some safety to you and your employees. It will pay for itself in a pinched finger that needs to be medically taken care of, not to mention the wasted time in taking care of that employee. This brings us to the next point.

Efficiency

Wasted time is something you should be eliminating on every job site. This could be wasted time taking care of somebody who has just pinched their finger or wasted time in having to pick up a product to be able to adjust the material below it and struggling to get your fingers underneath it to lift it, placing it somewhere, so you can use both hands to adjust the material below it, and then picking it back up with both hands and potentially disturbing the material below it again while placing it. Either way, you look at it, this tool is a minimal upfront investment that would save you time and money on any job site.
